Curtain Call was a free e-Book dedicated to the freedom of thought and response that is God’s greatest gift to mankind. Without that we would be nothing more than robots.

In preparation for ministry as artists, we must establish a dynamic balance in our lives. We must identify our spiritual gifts, expand our abilities, and gain experience as we wait on God. This e-Book is an exhortation to do this in the spirit of true discipleship; in submission to the pastor and Church leadership: Humbling ourselves as we listen hard to the promptings of the Spirit.

Artists are in a vulnerable position. In a healthy church, great things are accomplished through the Arts. But some churches cling to the "that’s the way we’ve always done it" syndrome. As a result, Christian artists have been forced to explore and develop creative gifts in an atmosphere of less than passive resistance - even intolerance. People are uncomfortable with new things and tend to resist drastic change. Establishing a new creative ministry in the Church often means combining the old with the new.

Church drama opens the emotions to the word of God making it possible to couch issues in a way that penetrates the subconscious; reaching past human defenses and touching people at the deepest level. Drama encourages people to see the Truth. Curtain Call is a series of letters written to novice Christian church dramatists. These letters are as much about the philosophy of church ministry as they are about the Arts in Church Ministry itself.
